General Updates

We have been holding club meetings every Wednesday since the first day of school, and have made significant progress in playing the majority of our pieces. All of our repertoire has been arranged and finalized. We will be performing Sandpaper Ballet, Pastoral Symphony, Test Drive, Ecstasy of Gold, 007 Theme, and the Waltzing Cat.

Recently, our first performance for the NHS Induction has been canceled. However, that has been a great opportunity for us to regroup and to get definitive rehearsal dates before our first semi-official performance.

As Symphonic is the big group that will be performing on the April 27th concert date, with small ensembles being scattered throughout, we have taken the initiative by becoming the first student oriented planning. The Symphonic execs and other students who wish to collaborate with us will be in charge of the planning and execution of the events. This is major since it is the first time that a student body has been in charge of setting up the order of songs, creating the program, and promoting the concert. We hope it will not be the last time and this will continue after the '22 to '23 Execs graduate.
